The Lafayette Township Volunteer Fire Department Board of Directors is a diverse group of dynamic people
working to further the Department and it's goals in the community.

We are privileged to have a Board of Directors that is devoted
to Floyds Knobs and the Fire Department, not only holding regular Board Meetings
but also giving countless hours of service each year to Department and Community Service Projects.

CHARLES STASER
PRESIDENT
Board member since 1988
Charlie is a retired professional Firefighter.
He has served with LTVFD since 1998.
He was honored as IVFA District 16 Firefighter of the Year.
Charlie is active in community, church and school related organizations.
ROBERT ISING
SECRETARY
Board member since 2002
Bob has had a long and distinguished career in the banking industry.
He has been involved in LTVFD Community Projects for a number of years.
Bob is active in community and industry-related organizations.
DAN SCHMIDT
TREASURER
Board member since 1993
Dan is an Engineering Program Manager.
He holds a B.A. in Mathematics.
Dan is active in church and community organizations.
TERRY MEEK
FIRE CHIEF
Board member since 2004
Terry has been a Member of LTVFD since 1984.
He has held Assistant Chief positions from 1994 - 2000, served as Deputy Fire Chief from 2000-2004,
and was named Fire Chief in 2004.
He works for a local Plumbing Contracting Company.
His daughter Kari Meek is a member of our LTVFD.
ELVIN "BARNEY" HAMMER
FIRE DEPARTMENT MEMBER
Board member since 1997
Barney is a Founding Member of the Department serving LTVFD since 1958.
He served as LTVFD Fire Chief from 1972-1973.
Barney is active with his church and the Floyds Knobs Community Club.
His son Wayne Hammer is a long-standing member of our Fire Department.
MYRON HUTH
FIRE DEPARTMENT MEMBER
Board member since 1996
Myron is a Founding Member of the Department serving LTVFD since 1958.
He served as LTVFD Fire Chief from 1973-1974.
Myron is active in church and community projects.
Myron's son Mark Huth is a long-standing member and former Fire Chief of our Department.
KIP INGRAM
FIRE DEPARTMENT MEMBER
Board member since 2005
Kip has been a Member of LTVFD since 2004.
He is active in Department and Community Service projects.
