Lafayette Township Volunteer Fire Department
L. T. V. F. D. was founded in 1958 in a concrete garage on Scottsvile Road by a small group of residents who had a dream
of protecting life and property in Lafayette Township. Despite a lack of funding and equipment this group persevered, overcoming
all obstacles and forming one of the finest Volunteer Fire Departments in Indiana.

L. T. V. F. D. is extremely proud to have many founding and early year members involved with the Department to this day.
Their years of service and expertise, combined with their devotion to the Township and Department, are an inspiration to all members
of Lafayette Township Volunteer Fire Department.
