At approximately 6:25 p.m. units were called to the 4000 block of Weber Lane for an attic fire. Command 1, Command 2, Command 3, Engine 11, Engine 13 and Rescue 1 responded. Units arrived on scene and spoke with homeowner, who advised fire units the fire was in the attic. Firefighters removed approximately a 10’ X 10’ area of blown in cellulose insulation where the fire had started. After further investigation they found it to be electrical and have burned down inside the wall. A portion of the wall was removed to reveal the cause. Units ventilated structure and cleared the scene with very minimal fire and smoke damage.
