


| Frank C. Denzinger, 32, Floyd County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Funeral services for Officer Frank C. Denzinger, 32, of Lanesville, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23, at Floyd Central High School, with burial in St. Peters Lutheran Church Cemetery in Corydon. He died Monday, June 18, 2007, in the line of duty. He was a 1993 graduate of Floyd Central High School. He graduated with honors from Vincennes University and Eastern Kentucky University. He was a four year veteran of the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department and was secretary of the FOP Wyandotte Lodge 171. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 591 in Crandall and a member of the National Rifle Association. Born Jan. 15, 1975, in New Albany, he was a loving loyal father, husband, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Survivors include his wife of nearly four years, Tara Quinkert Denzinger and his daughter, Avery Grace Denzinger; his parents, Frank W. and Patricia Rupp Denzinger, Elizabeth; a sister, Sara Denzinger Rowe and her husband, Mike, and their children, Zachary and Jarrett; a sister, Amy Denzinger Cook and her husband, Craig, and their children, Noah, Charlie and Henry, all of Floyds Knobs; father-in-law, Michael Quinkert and his wife, Terri; mother-in- law, Lin Ashcraft and her husband, Dene; a sister-in-law, Tia Quinkert and her son, Dalton, all of New Albany; brother-in-law, Kevin Quinkert, Livermore, Calif.; grandfather, Bob Brown, Louisville; and grandparents, Clara and Pop Quinkert, New Albany. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Katie Denzinger and Harold and Viola Rupp and his brother-in-law, Shayne Quinkert. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 22, at Generations Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany. Memorial contributions may be made to the Child of Frank C.
